1. THE SPIRIT OF OFFENSE HAS COME….. PART 2 DOMINION CHRISTIAN CENTER JULY 17, 2015

5. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

6. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

7. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Matthew 24:8-12

8. THEY WERE ALL OFFENDED!

9. Matthew 24:8-12Amplified Bible (AMP) 8 All this is but the beginning [the early pains] of the birth pangs [of the intolerable anguish]. 9 Then they will hand you over to suffer affliction and tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

10. 10 And then many will be offended and repelled and will begin to distrust and desert, Him Whom they ought to trust and obey, and will stumble and fall away and betray one another and pursue one another with hatred.

11. 11 And many false prophets will rise up and deceive and lead many into error. 12 And the love of the great body of people will grow cold because of the multiplied lawlessness and iniquity,

12. BECAUSE OF THE INCREASE OF WICKEDNESS, THE LOVE OF MOST WILL GROW COLD. [MATTHEW 24:12]

13. Rejection of God's Word Because man has rejected God's Word, he has been given over to a reprobate mind that seeks self-gratification over responsibility to others.

14. The word “antinomianism” comes from two Greek words, anti, meaning "against"; and nomos, meaning "law." Antinomianism means “against the law.”

15. Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is forever praised. Amen.

16. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

17. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice.

18. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. Romans 1:24-32

19. 2 PETER 2:19 WHILE THEY PROMISE THEM LIBERTY, THEY THEMSELVES ARE THE SERVANTS OF CORRUPTION: FOR OF WHOM A MAN IS OVERCOME, OF THE SAME IS HE BROUGHT IN BONDAGE.

20. PHILIPPIANS 3:8-15

21. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

22. 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

23. 11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. 12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

24. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

25. 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

27. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God-- having a form of godliness but denying its power. 2 Timothy 3:2-5

28. The Apostle Paul said that in the last days man would be "brutal." The Greek, 'anemeros' literally means "untamed, savage, or brutal." He also said that the last days man would be not be lovers of the good - possibly better translated as "haters of the good."

29. “The amount of deviant behavior in American society has increased beyond the levels the community can 'afford to recognize' and that, accordingly, we have been re-defining deviancy so as to except much conduct previously stigmatized, and also quietly raising the 'normal' level in categories where behavior is now abnormal by any earlier standard."

30. "While the severity of actions range from simple cheating at school to pushing drugs, to cold- blooded murders, the depth of the problem has reached a point where common decency can no longer be described as common. Somewhere, somehow, the traditional value system got disconnected for a disturbing number of America's next generation."

31. THE CHURCH CANNOT HELP THE WORLD BECAUSE WE ARE A DIVORCED FAITH. THE CHURCH IS MORE DIVIDED THAN OUR NATION.

33. IF YOU CAN’T TRUST GOD’S WORD TO LEAD YOUR LIFE, TO DIRECT YOUR LIFE, TO SUSTAIN YOUR LIFE, THEN DON’T PICK OUT JOHN 3:16 TO SAVE YOUR LIFE.

34. THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IS IN TROUBLE!

35. GOD’S PEOPLE ARE NOT IN TROUBLE!

36. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (KJV) 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

37. Deuteronomy 31:6 (KJV) Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

38. Matthew 28:20 ESV “Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

39. Hebrews 13:6 ESV So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”

40. 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and love and sound mind.
