Quite literally, “affinity” was used to describe the END of BOUNDARIES between two people. In this sense, affinity means the END of separation between a person and that which he or she is drawn to.

5. Infinity (n) ◦ the state or quality of being infinite ◦ It appeared that the ocean went on for infinity and never ended.

6. Infinitesimal (adj) ◦ extremely small ◦ Scientists often study the world of the infinitesimal under microscopes because the organisms are so small.
