1. Excel Final Project – Day 3 Notes You should have 4 reports done by the end of today… Grades are up to date… The only remaining grade for the quarter is the grade for the final project.

2. Formatting All numbers should be in comma style Borders should be nicely done. All spreadsheets should be centered on the page.

3. Formatting If you use pivot tables… Many of the titles have “Sum of” – Change the names of the columns to better reflect the contents. If Excel complains about duplicate names, Add a space to the end of the name. Your charts may have buttons on them – Right click on any of the buttons and select “Hide all Fields setting buttons”

4. Formatting If you use SubTotals… The word “Total” is included on all lines. Remove it! Replace (CNTL-H), Find What “ Total”, Replace with left blank and Replace All. Charts are difficult with Subtotals. Pivot tables work better for the charts
