3. This world was a mess from the

Luke 11:29 As the crowds were increasing Jesus said, “This generation is a wicked generation..”

Matthew 23:33 Jesus said to the scribes and Pharisees, “You serpents and brood of vipers, how shall you escape the sentence of hell?”

Matthew 24:7ff Jesus said, “Nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes……”

7. A growing mess in priorities.
II Timothy 3:1 Realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self and of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding a form of godliness…

I Peter 4:12 Don’t be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you.

II Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.
