2. Task Everyone is going to make a bouncy ball!
Record the recipe that you use to make the bouncy ball

3. Steps for Everyone (2 Different Cups)
Borax Solution Cup:
2 tablespoon of water
½ teaspoon of borax powder
Stir until dissolved
Ball Mixture Cup:
1 tablespoon of glue
Variable: Borax Solution
Variable: Cornstarch

4. Brainstorm Ideas!
As a team, determine a different recipe for each person on your team
Write this recipe down on your paper
What do you predict this recipe will do to your bouncy ball
Bounce High, Bounce Low, Go further, etc…

5. Build a Prototype! Follow your recipe to make your bouncy ball
Make a bouncy ball for each person on your team
Ensure that you follow the recipe closely!

6. Tests for your bouncy balls

Run through a series of tests
Record the data for each of your bouncy balls, in each test

7. Report! Which ingredient combination provided the highest bounce?

Which ingredient combination provided the longest bouncing time?
What are some observations of the balls that did not perform well in this test?

8. Reflect! What could you have improved upon?
What could you have done better as a team?
What concentration of what ingredient worked the best? Worst?
