 The New Generation, this is our topic for the research that we are going to present next. First we present information about the topic. Adolescents are our new generation combines with the emerging technology, social problems, education, etc. We present the different stages of the adolescents physically, mentally and socially. For our research we made a survey about the topic we chose. We present then the methodology we chose, the type of survey we are using and the component of this. For the survey we use a likert scale and we explain what a likert scale is. Finally we present the survey and our findings and future examinations. for finishing a conclusion, and analyze each statement.

 Adolescence is a transitional stage of physical and mental human development that occurs between childhood and adulthood. This transition involves biological, social, and psychological changes, though the biological or physiological ones are the easiest to measure objectively. The teenage years are from ages 13 to 19. However, the end of adolescence and the beginning of adulthood varies by country and by function, and furthermore even within a single nation-state or culture there can be different ages at which an individual is considered to be (chronologically and legally) mature enough to be entrusted by society with certain tasks. Internationally, those who reach a certain age (often 18, though this varies) are legally considered to have reached the age of majority and are regarded as adults and are held to be responsible for their actions. People below this age are considered minors or children.

 A person below the age of majority may gain adult rights through legal emancipation. Such milestones include, but are not limited to, driving a vehicle, having legal sexual relations, serving in the armed forces or on a jury, purchasing and drinking alcohol, voting, entering into contracts, completing certain levels of education, and marrying. Adolescence is usually accompanied by an increased independence allowed by the parents or legal guardians and less supervision, contrary to the preadolescence stage. In commerce, this generation is seen as an important target. Mobile phones, contemporary popular music, movies, television programs, websites, sports, video games and clothes are heavily marketed and often popular amongst adolescents.

 The methodology we are going to use in this survey is the quantitative method. What is a quantitative methodology? Is a research method that relies less on interviews, observations, and small numbers of questionnaires, focus groups, subjective reports and case studies but is much more focused on the collection and analysis of numerical data and statistics. The opposite to this type of research is qualitative research, which is much more reliant upon, interviews and case studies and deals generally with much smaller numbers.

 Our survey is about the new generation that present what adolescent are going true. This survey has 10 statements about the topic. We want people to really think about the different statement in the survey and make them chose in a likert scale. This survey is organized in a table; on top of the table is the demographic information that each student has to fill out. This is going to facilitate the information for our investigation on what people think about the new generation. What is a likert scale?A Likert scale is a psychometric scale commonly used in questionnaires, and is the most widely used scale in survey research. When responding to a Likert questionnaire item, respondents specify their level of agreement to a statement. The scale is named after its inventor, psychologist Rensis Likert. On our survey the likert scale have four options strongly disagree, disagree, agree and strongly agree.Likert scaling is a bipolar scaling method, measuring either positive or negative response to a statement. Sometimes a four- point scale is used; this is a forced choice method since the middle option of "Neither agree nor disagree" is not available.

 The information gathered on the survey was that: Female 67% and Male 33%  18 years old 69%, 19 years old 15% and other ages 16%  Conclusion:  In the statements 1,2,4,6,7,9 and 10, people agreed. They thought that the statement was true.  Only on statement 3, people strongly agreed that it was true.  On statements 5 and 8, people disagreed. Because they think adolescents are not interested in these issues.  For future investigations we would extend our survey to include other range of the population besides the college students. Find more facts an make more precise statements.
