Wiki-pedia, an online encyclopedia with no “authors” but millions of contributors and editors.

3 Wiki Vs Blog WikiBlog Collaborative website can be directly edited by anyone who has access Personal website (online journal) with entries appearing in sequence as written Many people can contribute their experiences and knowledge Usually edited and maintained by 1 person Discussions can take place on pages or in the discussion forum Discussions take place in the comments of a post, must be approved by blogger. Easy to create and edit. No HTML required. Also create and edit. But HTML is useful to make the pages nicer.

14 Things to remember when participating in a discussion group: Before asking or responding in a newsgroup, take the time to read about the discussion before replying Stick to the topic of the discussion group When quoting someone, use only the portion of the quote that is absolutely necessary Avoid "flame wars" Don't send personal messages to an entire newsgroup (use e-mail instead)
