2. OLD TIMES: first hotels in Russia Hotel history began in the Middle Ages. Those days Inns appeared. They looked like simple buildings, and the services included overnight and simple food (Bed&Breakfast of our times). And there also were buildings for people who arrived to the Monasteries - they called them Farmsteads.

3. Inn The Inns- were generally establishments or buildings where travelers could seek for lodging and, usually, food and drinks. Historically inns provided not only food and bed, but stabling for travelers horses.

12. The 20 th years In the 20s they began to construct the first Soviet Hotel societies. In the 50s such hotel as the Leningradskaya, the Ukraine, the Altai were built. In 1986 appeared the first foreign brands – Marriott among them.

14. Modern times We have a lot of hotels all over Russia our times. The most popular are: Crowne Plaza,Radisson, Hilton and Marriott. All of them are very comfortable and perform very mordern hospitality services.

15. My Vision Hotel industry does everything to make our guests happy in our days. In my opinion our hotels will be better, will progress and be more attractive for the clients. I think that hotels will be equipped with the best modern facilities you can ever find. And I want to be a part of this industry because it has got great history, which I have already told about, and even more interesting future.
