2.  He rode across the country side from Boston to Lexington to warn The colonists that the British were marching on Concord.

28.  Also known as “Gentleman Johnny”, he led the British forces south from Canada. He retook Ft. Ticonderoga using up most of his supplies. He led an attack on Bemis Heights near Saratoga. Outnumbered, he surrendered on Oct. 17, 1777 at Saratoga resulting in a huge victory for the Patriots.
