1933: 21st Amendment repealed

Agricultural Adjustment Act (AAA) **

FDR called for more extreme relief for farmers & workers.

Social Security was implemented.

9. New Deal’s Affects on Groups
Women and African American were named to high government positions.
Native Americans were given full citizenship.
FDR was not totally dedicated to civil rights
Needed support of white democrats.
