9 Drafting Using SEE to strengthen your writing What is SEE? SEE is a method to use to strengthen your writing “ S ” = Statement – This is a statement that conveys, or shows, a main idea “ E ” = Extension – Restate or explain the first sentence. Don’t copy, explain “ E ” = Elaboration – Give more details about the main idea
