9 HRA balances HRAs (Health Reimbursement accounts) were associated with Options Blue Plan 2005-2014 There was no funding to HRAs in 2015, and the plan will close December 31, 2015 The IRS does not allow for HRA funds to be converted to HSA funds 9

10 How HSA plans work 10 You are also able to add additional dollars to your HSA account $1,000 deposited into your HSA- ($83.33/month) You spend $400 on medical expenses during the year $600 is left at the end of the year Next year $1,000 is added to your HSA account for a total of $1,600

11 HSA Dollar Limits Total Amounts Allowed for HSA Plans in 2016: Single only plan: $3350 EE+1 & Family plan: $6750 College contributions must be counted toward this maximum 11

12 HSA’s and Federal Guidelines If you or a spouse currently have Medicare Part A If you have children on your plan that you can no longer claim as dependents If you have a domestic partner on the plan No cross over option for HSA payment Funds are only available if in the account Age 55 Catch Up for HSAs ($1,000 in 2016) 12

19 Employee Assistance Program- EAP HealthPartners EAP – Up to six face to face visits available for counseling needs – Smoother transitions from EAP to continuing counseling under HealthPartners 19

20 Open Enrollment 2016 Open Enrollment will be Wednesday, October 28 through Tuesday, November 24. If you do not want to make changes and are not participating in an FSA, DCA, or HSA you do not need to log on. FSA, DCA, and HSA elections must be made each year. 20
