2. Establishment of EEvA
Ethiopian Evaluation Association is established in 2009 by the assistance of UNICEF and re registered in 2010.
EEvA had collaboration and support from ChSA, UNICEF‐Ethiopia and Ethiopian Statistical Association.
Currently we have more than 200 members

1. Create a forum for professional evaluation based multi-disciplinary discussions.
2. To promote useful evaluations that support development in Ethiopia and give professional support as the case demands.
3. To encourage the development and publication of high quality evaluation practice, research and theory development based on Ethiopian experiences and expertise thereby enhancing the building of evaluation capacity in Ethiopia.

Prepared strategic plan for the association
Created networks with national and global organizations
Ethiopian Evaluation Standard (EEvS) development is on the way
Members conducted different researches on M&E in their own field

Financial constraints due to limited numbers of members and meager contributions

Has no executive office and employees (all are volunteers)

Create dialogue forums on M&E challenges in Ethiopia and beyond
