12 Making an effective application  Tailor your CV/application form for that particular job/organisation/speciality  Focus on the relevant parts of your experience  Refer to transferable skills from other specialties  Convince the employer that you want to work for them  Be clear, concise and relevant  No spelling or grammatical errors.  Do as they say. If they say no CVs- don’t send a CV  Make the effort otherwise the employer won’t make the effort to see you.  Check your application/CV before you send it.
