Against and For. Tap water vs. Bottled water

Against tap water.  Might have chlorine in it.  Tap water can come from undergrounds, lakes and streams.  Used for human use. (e.g washing clothes, taking a bath/shower)  Tastes bad.

Tap water might have chlorine in it because the pipes have chlorine in it to keep it clean and keep bacteria away. But it can still be bad for us because we are drinking this water and its going inside our bodies. Tap water is simply the subsurface water that fully saturates pores or cracks in soils and rocks. Tap water is not only use for drinking but you also wash yourself with it, clean your clothes, flush the toilet which makes it gross to drink even if they clean it. They say tap water s the healthiest and it tastes good but it really doesn’t. You see in that first picture is what your tap water would look like but the second picture is what it really tastes like.

Here’s a graph that shows how many bottled water we drink.

Water is made up of 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom (H2O). When a lot of these H2Os join together they form water. When water falls on the earth’s surface from the clouds, a lot of substances dissolve in the water, eg. silt, minerals, bacteria, etc., just like a train picking up passengers. Most tap water contains minerals. For example, if you drink two liters of water a day, you could be getting 10 to 15% of your daily calcium requirement and up to a third of your required magnesium just from the water you drink. You can get it for free, you don’t have to pay for it like you do for water bottles. You can get it for free, you don’t have to pay for it like you do for water bottles.
