Requirements for Coalition Voting Membership Must be a community member or have a vested interest in the community Must sign a “Coalition Involvement Agreement (CIA) Must make a commitment to attend at least 50% of the monthly coalition meetings In addition to meeting attendance, member must participate in either a sub-committee, strategy or coalition event.

Coalition Decision-Making Process Coalition members who have the right to vote: Must be present physically or electronically (skype/speaker phone) A modified version of Roberts Rules will be used A simple majority will rule A quorum is constituted by having 3 sectors or more represented with more than half of the voting membership present

Advisory Board Decisions to be Made Advisory Board - will consist of five elected voting members who each represent one of the required twelve sectors. There may be only one representative from each sector. Advisory board members will hold terms of two years and be limited to two consecutive terms. The nomination and voting process will be private.

Advisory Board Responsibilities Long term strategic planning Consideration of Evidence Based Programs and Practices to implement Provide input into monthly coalition agenda planning Review/recommend strategies from other communities Explore additional funding opportunities
