Devices communicate once a second to track each other's clocks. Possibly could be improved by a factor of 100. The devices would then need to communicate once every 100 seconds to maintain synchronization. => 900 communications / day with no information transfer + perhaps 4 communications on demand 99.5% Battery Power wasted
