3 Preparing the Experiment A succession of profiles predifined by the user: what is a profile ? one ramp caracterized by: heating or cooling rate. Field to be applied during the ramp. the dwelling temperature to reach. Field to be applied at this stage Possibility to link as many profiles as needed.

4 Heating or cooling rate °C/min Ramp field µT Dwell Temperature °C Dwell field µT Dwell time min Dwelling time : 0 to hours Dwell Field Experiment: One or Many Profiles Profiles.txt 7 0 100 50 10 1050 200 0 5. One File Time Temperature

5 Running the experiment A labview program runs automatically the profiles.txt file Every profile (one line in profiles.txt ) measurement is saved in one file.dat Possibility to modify the Profiles while the experiment is running by removing or adding line(s)
