3 Benefits of GBIFBenefits of GBIF  Making Biodiversity contacts throughout the world  Opportunities to participate in development workshops  Opportunities to make proposals for grants  Keeping up with the biodiversity informatics advances throughout the world

4 Ways we work together  Much of this is done through our members who are also participants in GBIF directly.  IABIN is developing thematic networks which are consistent with GBIF target areas, including pollinators, species and specimens.  We promote GBIF with our members and may be engaging through our thematic networks as they develop.  We work with the promotion of DIGIR protocols.
