6 National Weather Service Interpolated Models Output from the most recent run of the dynamic numerical models is not available to the hurricane specialists until after they have made their forecasts. Forecast data from the previous run of the model is adjusted such that the six hour forecast exactly matches the observed position and intensity of the tropical cyclone.
