17 www.restorequarries.eu Working together to give nature a home providing a framework to enhance biodiversity and green infrastructure for communities, biodiversity and wildlife across North West Europe (NWE) through the restoration of minerals sites 4 WPs: demonstrating what it is possible to achieve through pilots and case studies; reviewing existing policies in NW Europe and showcases best practice; developing an interactive tool to help with decision making in respect of the future of minerals sites; evaluating the benefits to society from nature focussed restoration through the ground measuring of ecosystem services and valuation of restoration options.
