27. A great need of God's people in the world today is that they be systematically and regularly partaking of the Word of God. You and I, like John and Ezekiel, need to be assimilating the Word of God so it can work its life- changing power in us. There are no shortcuts, beloved. Read the Word. Do you feast daily on the Word of Christ? Herein lies salvation, victory over sin, wisdom, knowledge, fellowship with God, evangelism, the filling of the Holy Spirit and much more. None of these things, however, can be acquired apart from the regular in-take of the Word of God.
