Introduction
-Everybody loves to be loved
Nothing can exist without love
There are different types of love, a husband to wife, a mother to child etc.
But throughout the Bible we see statements about God’s love
The gospel of John speaks more specific of God’s love
He presents the greatness of God’s love in a nut shell - Only God’s love can be called the greatest! Why? Let me show you 5 points.

His love is great because he is the greatest, (God so loved…) - God is eternal while we are not, Deuteronomy 33:27
- God is immutable, Hebrews 6:17
- God knows everything, Job 34:21
- He is Omni present, Psalms 139:7-8
- He is holy, Leviticus 11:44
- He created everything Genesis 1:1-31, Genesis 2:1-25

3. THE GREATNESS OF GOD’S LOVE…
2. His love is great because he loves us, (God so loved the world…) - God loves the human beings.
- He loves you and knows you personally by your name.
- But we are not worthy of being loved.
- And while we were yet sinners Christ died for us, Romans 5:8

4. THE GREATNESS OF GOD’S LOVE…
3. His love is great because of the way he care for us, (that he gave his only son,) - People love other for many reasons.
- Because of selfishness, because of receiving something.
- But God loved us unselfishly.

5. THE GREATNESS OF GOD’S LOVE…
4. His love is great because he loves everyone, (that who ever believes…) -  His love does not care for the skin color.
-  His love does not care for the race.
- His love does not care about the caste.
- But he loves everyone the same.

6. THE GREATNESS OF GOD’S LOVE…
5. His love is great for we will not perish if we believe in him, (that whosoever believes in him should not perish…) - Jesus paid the price for our sin.
- He has paid the price for our sicknesses.
- He has paid the price for all our frustrations and
disappointments.

7. THE GREATNESS OF GOD’S LOVE…
Conclusion - This verse communicates to us the greatness of God’s love.
- It is difficult to understand why many are blind to see this love.
- Thus missing the rich benefits offered by God.
