The Trek Back Home Part Two: Creation Museum to Home

Creation Museum, Petersburg, KY The most interesting museum I have ever been to! Definitely worth the $25 admission!

Except for this… The raptors are loose!

The first exhibits were marvelous! Looking at dinosaurs in non- evolutionary terms was a refreshing experience. Could dinosaurs have looked like this? Reptilian cousins?

So beautifully perfect the Garden of Eden must have been! No death, no pain, no grief, but peace and harmony for all. Most exciting of all, no extinct dinosaurs! Until…

How was Noah and his family able to keep up w/ 120 years of doing this stuff? They sure were very tenacious people! The Noah’s ark display was another one of my favorites. Great to see biblical stories exhibited in a public facility! Their hard work certainly paid off…

What was that?!?

Colorado

Colorado is such a gorgeous state; can’t imagine what it looks like snow-covered!

One of the last attractions we went to on the trip. We enjoyed a “VIP” tour of the headquarters of Focus on the Family, a Christian organization spreading the Gospel to families around the world, leaning about the inner workings of the various programs offered. God bless their wonderful work!

In our Colorado Springs campground, I became friends with a couple who lived in a trailer, moving to a new state every month. My friend Kaio and I talked with them for a couple hours. They were very nice people. Hope to see you again on the road someday!

Our last day in Colorado was a miracle! We did not plan for it, but we were passing through Colorado on the same dates that friends from our church in Japan were visiting relatives in Denver. We had breakfast with them on a beautiful patio. Only God’s will can explain this wonderful event! There is no such thing as luck, only divine providence…

Trouble on the Road Out in the middle of nowhere, a man in a car frantically waved at us. At first we just shook our heads and ignored him. Finally, the man drove with one last exasperation. We decided to examine the trailer and found this…

Grand Tetons Aahh… Being a Washingtonian, see coniferous trees and snowcapped mountains is such a relieving sight to behold; nothing can beat it.

Yellowstone This was our second time going to this stunning natural treasure. The first time was a few years ago and we made a whole vacation out of it, but, now this time we saw Yellowstone as a piece of the grand puzzle called the United States of America.

Yellowstone is possibly the most beautiful national park in the US. Geyser vapors and blue sky: a marvelous juxtaposition of nature.
