This is a national syllabus for delivering aquatics and provides stages for pupils to progress and become competent, confident and safe in the water. Swimming Lessons are 10 week courses. Adult Swimming Lessons Early morning and evening classes are suitable for beginners or those who wish to brush up on their skills/ improve their technique. Aquacise Classes This pool based class is a fun and invigorating all over body workout designed to burn calories with low impact on the body. Suitable for both male and females. School Holidays During School Holiday Periods as part of the free swim initiative Merthyr Tydfil Leisure will be offering periods of free swimming to all children aged 16 and under. There will be extra flume sessions scheduled throughout the day during these periods and the schools programme displayed will not run. Please contact reception for extra flume times. Water Babies Private Class – Further details can be found on www.waterbabies.co.uk Free Family Swim Sunday Evening – 5.30pm – 7.30pm Free use of the Main Pool, Learner and Leisure Pools, including the Aquaslide Flume, Turbo Seat, the Dolphin Slide and Mushroom Fountain. To qualify for free entry adults must be accompanied by a child. N.B. All swimmers must be registered under the Authorities free membership scheme.
