10 North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Banner HR/Payroll Project  The most significant project involving the divisions of Business & Finance, Human Resources, and Information Technology.  Important component of UNC FIT (the Financial Improvement and Transformation initiative directed by the UNC General Administration).  Involves nine schools, implementing in groups of three.  NC A&T is in the second implementation group (with Winston-Salem State and UNC School of the Arts).  Second group moving from an April to a July go-live date as a result of challenges for the overall project: »First implementation group (UNC-P, UNC-A, WCU) has not completed go- live. »UNC-GA technical assist team has not finalized work with first implementation group. »UNC-GA new Shared Services unit not fully staffed; not yet ready to handle back-end processing for six schools (benefits payments distribution to health insurance and retirement plan companies, quarterly tax reporting, etc.).
