2. Thesis Although there are many ways to identify someone, social media has impacted the shaping of identity, due to the presence of assimilation on the sites. These diverse cultures cause a loss of identity among certain people because it has become much harder to specifically identify under one culture, disabling people from having a specific identity due to the many cultures in society.
