Final Jeopardy Marco started out with $305.00 in his checking account. At the end of week one, he deposited $80 which he had collected from cutting lawns. His dad was proud of the work he was doing and gave him $40 Marco was sick during week two and could not work, so he did not deposit any money. He had to pay for his cell phone, though, which amounted to $99. Marco forgot his car payment of $325 was going to be automatically deducted from his account that week also, so after he bought a video game for $75, the bank sent him a notice for “insufficient funds.” The bank charged Marco an overdraft fee of $35.00.
