Caregivers are at higher risk for:  Medical problems  Depression and anxiety  Financial problems Dementia caregivers are especially challenged due to:  Protracted length of time of caregiving  Difficult behaviors  Lack of appreciation from the patient  Need for intensive involvement with the patient
