2. Composed of about 20 graduate students, supervised by Dr. Yugi Lee. Aimed at providing opportunities for research-oriented discussion and activities to undergraduate and graduate students at UMKC-SCE. Core foundations for UDIC group are laid on principles of Sharing and Learning –to be aware of the state-of-art in the Computer Science, –to coordinate the research efforts with the other researchers and groups around the World and –become leading players in their respective research community. Outcomes: ccGrid-03, Dexa-03, WWW-03, Er-03, CIKM- 03, ISWC-03, WIDM-03, etc. Alumni: IBM, Microsoft, Sprint, Cerner, etc

3. Summer Research About 15 Graduate Students participated Conducted research in three different areas: Sensor networks, Semantic Web, and Pervasive Computing –Forum: For Ten weeks, Every Saturday, Two hours presentation and discussion –Subgroup meetings –Paper reading and programming

4. Fall UDIC Forum Friday, 5:00 – 6:00, FH#557 –Presentation and Discussion –Topic: Semantic Web, Sensor Networks, Pervasive Computing, P2P, Grid, etc UDIC is an open group for SCE students. Join UDIC!!
