5 Vocabulary Least Common Multiple (LCM) – of two numbers is the least number that is a multiple of both. Ex: Find the LCM of 3 and 4 Step one. List the multiples of 3.. 3, 6, 9, 12 Step 2: List the multiples of 4….. 4, 8, 12 Step 3: Find the smallest (least )number they have in common…in this case 12.
