Prelude

Time of Prayer

Opening Song #10 “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee”

1. Joyful, joyful, we adore thee, God of glory, Lord of love; Hearts unfold like flowers before thee, Hail thee as the sun above. Melt the clouds of sin and sadness, Drive the clouds of doubt away; Giver of immortal gladness, Fill us with the light of day.

2. All they works with joy surround thee, Earth and heaven reflect thy rays, Stars and angels sing around thee, Center of unbroken praise; Field and forest, vale and mountain, Bloss'ming meadow, flashing sea, Chanting bird and flowing fountain Call us to rejoice in thee.

3. Thou art giving and forgiving, Ever blessing, ever blest, Wellspring of the joy of living, Ocean-depth of happy rest. Thou the Father, Christ our brother-- All who live in love are thine; Teach us how to love other, Lift us to the joy divine.

4. Mortals, join the mighty chorus Which the morning stars began; Father-love is reigning o'er us, Brother-love binds man to man. Ever singing, march we onward, Victors in the midst of strife; Joyful music lifts us sunward In the triumph song of life.

Responsive Reading: Leader: Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. People: And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; And perseverance produces character; And character produces hope. Leader:Hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

People: At just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Leader: Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, Though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. People: But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. All:We rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have now received reconciliation.

Prayer & The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, For ever and ever. Amen.

Message “The Parable of the Talent” Pastor Thomas Yoo

PPT 7 PAGE Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows (Galatians 6:7) Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. ( 1 Peter 4:10) PPT 7 PAGE

Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 1 Peter 4:10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.

Ephesians 2:6 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. James 2:14 What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him?

Time of Reflection “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”

1. What a friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry Everything to God in prayer! O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry Everything to God in prayer!

2. Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged: Take it to the Lord in prayer. Can we find a friend so faithful, Who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness: Take it to the Lord in prayer.

3. Are we weak and heavy laden, Cumbered with a load of care? Precious Saviour, still our refuge: Take it to the Lord in prayer. Do thy friends despise, forsake thee? Take it to the Lord in prayer; In his arms he'll take and shield thee, Thou wilt find a solace there.

Closing Song #990 “Victory In Jesus"

1. I heard an old, old story, how a Saviour came from glory, How he gave his life on Calvary to save a wretch like me; I heard about his groaning, of his precious blood's atoning, Then I repented of my sins and won the victory.

Chorus O victory in Jesus, my Saviour, forever! He sought me and bought me with his redeeming blood; He loved me ere I know him, and all my love is due him-- He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood.

2.I heard about his healing, of his cleansing power revealing, How he mad the lame to walk again and caused the blind to see; And then I cried: Dear Jesus come and heal my broken spirit; And somehow Jesus came and brought to me the victory.

Chorus O victory in Jesus, my Saviour, forever! He sought me and bought me with his redeeming blood; He loved me ere I know him, and all my love is due him-- He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood.

3. I heard about a mansion he has built for me in glory, And I heard about the streets of gold beyond the crystal sea; About the angels singing and the old redemption story, And some sweet day I'll sing up there the song of victory.

Chorus O victory in Jesus, my Saviour, forever! He sought me and bought me with his redeeming blood; He loved me ere I know him, and all my love is due him-- He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood.

Benediction

Thank you for worshiping with us!
