3 There were strict rules the artists had to follow

4 Paintings had to have Side view of the feet Front view of the shoulders Side view of the head Front view of one eye

5 Their gods were the combination of animal forms and human forms.
This shows the god Annubis with the head of a jackal mummifying the king
