11 Mesalands Community College Project  2012 Gift from the Working Ranch Cowboy Association in support of new Animal Science/Horsemanship program  Gift intended to improve facilities to support program  In 2013 Forecasts Growth would outpace Available Space  College began looking for land to develop a new Animal Science/Farrier Science/Rodeo Facility  New Facility would provide College with the ability to designate existing space for Fine Arts Program  Early Facility Development Estimated that the College would need up to 100 acres for the project

13 Mesalands Community College Land Acquisition  In 2013 the College Approached the Greater Tucumcari Economic Development Corporation (EDC)  EDC was in a lease with Gamesa Energy  Gamesa pulled out of project due to Economic Issues  Lease executed February 2015  Lease executed between the Greater Tucumcari Economic Development Corporation and the Mesalands Community College Foundation  25-year lease  $1 per year + 10% Revenue Sharing
