2 Overview Phoenix is building a multi-use trail along the Grand Canal from Glendale to Tempe Phase I between 15 th Avenue and 16 th Street and Garfield and Van Buren Streets is under design now and will be built in Fall 2016 Phase II between I-17 and Tempe has been approved and under development now

3 Grand Canalscape Goals  Goal:  Provide multiuse trail  Re-integrate canal into neighborhoods  Project focus:  Street crossings  Contiguous commuter trail  Neighborhood street connections  Limits:  Phoenix Grand Canal Segment  Glendale (75 th Ave at Camelback Rd) to Tempe (Priest Drive and Van Buren)
