11 Documents Some examples of how teachers are using Google Docs & Drive include: Collaborate and share lesson/curriculum plans Consolidate notes for department or faculty meetings Share and collect assignments without printing Provide instant feedback to students Publish student work Track instructional interventions Translate letters home for parents Sign up sheets (parent-teacher conferences, guest lectures, other)

12 Documents Some examples of how students can use online documents: Improve writing skills through peer editing and feedback Access documents in class or at home Work on reports, research or papers together w/ peers in different classes, schools or countries Keep a continuous, running log for assignments such as journal entries or writing samples

13 Documents: Forms Poll your class Tally information Have your students track where they are in the Writing Process Brainstorming, pre-writing, drafting, revising, editing, publishing, etc. Ask Q’s of your community Poll local scientists in science class, gather data with the intention of plotting the answers on a graph in math class, give students a pre-test in PE, etc.
