4 Content & Form Short synopsis NETWORKED explores themes of cyberstalking, catfishing & social anxiety disorder. It follows the story of Hannah, a pretty female university student who falls for a guy she meets online, Jack, who she believes to be a sweet, good-looking male. However, we find out that all is not as it seems as, after avoiding meeting face-to-face at every opportunity, Hannah begins to investigate until she uncovers the truth that the “sweet & good-looking” guy she thought she was speaking to is really Alex, a socially-inept male that has been stalking her. After confrontation and becoming trapped by Alex, Hannah gets through to him by making him realise his actions and therefore he agrees to stop stalking her. The story resolves as we see Hannah helping Alex with his social anxiety, therefore ending the cyberstalking and helping him to become a better person.
