12 2013 AP Exam Schedule If you are going to be absent from the scheduled AP testing date(s) for unavoidable reasons, notify the Records Clerk in the Counseling Center as soon as possible so that alternate accommodations can be made for you. If you are receiving special accommodations for the SAT I and want the same for the AP exams, notify the Records Room at the time you register for the APs.

17 College Representative Visits College admissions officers from over 100 colleges and universities visit GP South Listen to announcements for upcoming meetings or go to South’s CRC website To attend a visitation, get a pass before school from the Counseling Center secretary Contacting the college, visiting the college, meeting with the admissions officer, emailing, etc., during junior year can greatly add to your chances for admission when you apply senior year.

19 Campus Visits The Office of Admission at Alma college suggests you ask these questions: How is admission to the college determined? How do I have a campus tour? Sit in on a class? Have lunch in a dining hall? Stay overnight in a dorm? Do you have a Career Planning program? What is the school’s overall job placement rate? What is it in my intended major? What kinds of financial aid programs are available? What extra forms do I fill out? Are there any special scholarships offered by the school or its alumni? Can I have a car on campus during my freshman year? What are the dorm facilities like?

Now is the time to start researching options for next year.
