3 Aqua Novus Stretched the farthest from the city, approximately 59 miles away. Received its name from carrying water from the Anio River into the city. Provided one cubic meter of water per day for each inhabitant The water was originally taken from the river Anio and carried to Horti Pallantiana

4 Aqua Alexandrina Built in 226 A.D. It was the last aqueduct to be built in ancient Rome Its purpose was to carry water to the Baths of Nero according to emperor Alexander Severus It took water from springs east of Rome and carried it towards plains of the Campus Martis
