2 Census 2013 Census 2013 indicated smoking prevalence had fallen to 15% (from 23% in 2006). This is likely due to : A series of annual tax increases A retail display ban Better cessation products and methods The ABC approach through healthcare

3 What does this mean for kids? Smokefree Coalition wondered whether the declining smoking prevalence meant fewer children exposed to tobacco. So we asked: For the number of children living in households where at least one adult smokes The household’s income of every child living where at least one adult smokes
