4 How LCIF Works: Individuals, clubs, districts, and partners fund LCIF Melvin Jones Fellowships = more than 75% LCIF provides funding to support Lions’ efforts 3

5 LCIF Quick Facts: Since 1968, LCIF has awarded 12,307 grants totaling more than US$918 million In 2013-2014, US$46 million given for 538 projects Named the #1 non-governmental organization in the world with which to partner 4

10 Overview of Grant Programs Major Catastrophe Grants Up to US$250,000 for immediate relief or long-term reconstruction projects following major catastrophes Awarded at the direction of the International President and the LCIF Chairperson 9

14 LCIF District Coordinator Oversee LCIF development strategies within a district Educate Lions about LCIF mission Encourage the support of LCIF through all aspects of fundraising within a district 13
