2. Festivals The Lemon Festival, one of France’s most famous food festivals that is in February, which lasts two weeks. The Snail Festival is where they race snails. As you know snails are very, very slow so villagers try to speed them up by holding lettuce leaves in front of them. The Fete Des Rois (Festival Of Kings). On 6 January, celebrates the time when three kings visited Jesus and gave him presents. For tea on the Fete Des Rois, everybody eats a special cake, which contains a lucky charm. If you find the charm in your piece of cake, you become king or queen for the day and wear a crown.

3. Food The biggest strawberry tart in the world was made in France. The tart was made with 850 kilogrammes of strawberries, and measured 7 metres across. In France there are over 365 different types of cheese, such as brie, camembert and roquefort. French people eat lots of different fish and sea food.

4. Rugby France’s rugby couch is Philippe Saint-Andre, and their captain is Thierry Dusautoir. The closest France have ever got to winning the world cup is 2 nd. France came 2 nd in: 1991, 1999 and 2011. The France rugby flag is red with a yellow rooster.
