2 History/Facts Founded in 1967 to oppose immigration and multiculturalist policies in Britain. Most active in the 1970s and 1980s. – Received 0.6% of the overall vote in the 1979 general election. Received 0% in every election since 1992. Has been accused of holocaust denial. The British prison and police services do not allow employees to be members of the party. Stood 17 candidates in the 2010 general elections and 18 candidates in the local. – None won any positions.

3 Goals To remind the British of their history and heritage. To warn of the dangers of creeping dictatorship. To liberate the people from poverty and an oppressive economic system. To provide a clean, peaceful, and democratic future for our white children. To promote a genuinely democratic system. – Proportional representation – Increase in power of House of Commons Select Committees.

4 We seek to empower the people! Family: – Promote as the ideal social unit. Raise family allowances Universal provision of free school meals Political Platform: – Withdraw from NATO and the oppressive EU – All political and economic power to be given to the British people. – Have as many decisions as possible made on local rather than national level. – Halt all nonwhite immigration.

5 Bill of Rights Equal and free access to justice. Freedom of speech. Freedom of publication and distribution of printed matter. Freedom of access to publicly owned assembly facilities. Freedom for orderly demonstrations in public. The right to vote and run for election for public office without financial or other qualifications. Freedom from arbitrary arrest.

6 Social: Anti-Abortion Anti-Homosexuality Capital punishment Media: – Expansion of British film and television production. Tariff on imports to mainly decrease the large amounts of American media. Environment: – Protect all existing green areas and increase their size and number. – Entirely free National Health Service, including free prescriptions. Remove financial restrictions on educational arts programs.
