2 Introduction CERT wishes to be an on-campus resource to this office and this campus. We are prepared to assist and advise on those University initiatives and projects that logically will benefit from the involvement of our architectural and engineering faculty, staff and students. CERT desires to continue establishing itself off-campus as a community and civic resource for the public and private sectors in the area of energy conservation and environmental safeguarding through design strategies and implementation. CERT remains committed to improving the teaching, research and campus life of the A & T experience.

3 Introduction CERT is: Dr. Harmohinder Singh, P.E. – Center Director Robert Powell, M.S. – Architectural Director Dr. Frank Yeboah, D.EngSc. – Research Associate Matt O’Brien, AIA, M.Ed. – Architectural Research Associate Ms. Venetia Fisher – Program Assistant...and many other faculty, advisors and partners who share the belief that ENERGY and the ENVIRONMENT are inexorably linked. CERT is conducting the research and sharing the results with our partners charged with improving the built environment.

4 CERT CERT: can be your first point of contact for issues related to Energy and the Environment (E & E) as it relates to campus, community and civic life. assist in authoring new E & E initiatives emanating from your office. Invites you to attend any of our weekly staff meetings is interested in exchanging the identities of the “low- hanging E & E fruit” which both offices are interested in addressing and correcting.
