Need of Improving/Increasing Coverage and Capacity of Cellular System  When cellular service providers build their networks, their networks are designed to provide coverage to the area of desire with the expectation of possible increase in population (number of users) in the near future.  As the demand for wireless service increases, the number of channels assigned to a cell eventually becomes insufficient to support the required number of users.
