10 NanoScholar Internship Program  Hosted by ACC, Sematech, ATDF, and other companies.  Starts at the beginning of the fall, spring, and summer semesters.  Interns work 20 - 30 hours per week  About 15 - 30 weeks

11 NanoScholar Internship Program  Train and gain the skills to be a technician.  Experience the nanotechnology field.  Clean room and clean suits  Wafers  Fabrication techniques and tools ▪ Electron microscopes ▪ Etchers ▪ Photolithography devices  http://www.sematech.org/research/nwdi/index.htm

12  Research Intensive Summer Program  Weekly Seminars from Distinguished Faculty  Med/Grad School Info Sessions  Wide variety of research fields to choose from  Brief Abstract due at end of program  $2500 stipend  Program Dates: May 27th – August 1st  Applications Due February 1st

13  Worked for a neurosurgeon  Got the chance to observe a lot of his work  Worked on data analysis of electrocorticograms (subdurally implanted electrode data) in language areas  Also was involved in fMRI research  Overall, a fantastic experience!!! http://med.uth.tmc.edu/administration/edu_programs/ep/summer_research_pro gram/index.htm
