7. SACE 2013 A record 13,558 students gained their SACE, an increase of 154 students on 2012. 93.4 per cent of students completed the certificate, compared to 92.2 per cent in 2012. SACE Board data also shows more students completing higher- level vocational qualifications with their SACE. More than 1,000 students counted a Certificate III or higher qualification towards their SACE, with 5,558 students undertaking some Vocational Education and Training (VET), up 10 per cent on 2012. The number of Aboriginal students completing Year 12 also reached a record high, climbing to 238 students, up from 180 in 2012.
