3 What is the GDAA?  Multi-party contract setting out governance for payment collection and remittance of Green Deal charges.  GDAA Parties:  Electricity Suppliers  Green Deal Providers  Finance Parties  Also provides governance of processes in the Green Deal Central Charge database (GDCC). 4 Governance: The GDAA Panel Gemserv3 3 Supplier Members 3 Provider Members 1 Secretary of State Representative Membership Applications to become a new Party Operational issues and change requests Derogations Breaches and defaults in relation to the GDAA Appeals and disputes GDAA budget considerations Responsibilities

5 GDAA Technical Sub-Committee Gemserv4  Acts under instruction of the GDAA Panel  Considers operational and technical issues  Provides comments on Change Proposals  Membership is open to all Parties  Observers from DECC, Authority, MRA, DTSA  Meets on a monthly basis  Improvements to ensure compliance and smooth running of the operation

7 GDAA-GDCC Supplier Obligations  Validation and Revalidation of Green Deal related information  Rejected Data – Supplier must ensure Providers have the option to notify GDCC of:  revised data, or  A GD Plan is ending (D0322); or  A GD Plan will not be set up, and to end validation process (D0321)  Site disconnection notifications  Green Deal Charge recovery – Supplier acts as your agent and trustee Gemserv6

8 Enhanced Validation  The DTN gateways have a “enhanced validation” function  Providers should manually switch this function on to improve data quality: Mandatory data items; Group range; Group hierarchy; Valid set content; and Group conditionality.  See Electralink website for further guidance Gemserv7

9 Events of Default and Consequences  Events of Default under the GDAA are outlined under Clause 19.1.1  Consequences to an Event of Default are outlined under Clause 20.2 and include:  Suspension of nomination and voting rights  Suspension of the ability to submit Change Proposals  Suspension of the ability to rise Operational Issues  The GDAA Event of Default Operational Procedure can be found herehere Gemserv8
