7. V. A shocking claim by Jesus vs 24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

8. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

11. VI. The surprise of the disciples vs 25 He said what???? When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

12. VII. A supreme answer by Jesus vs 26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

14. Final thoughts…..did Jesus condemn riches? James 2:5,5:4 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

15. James 5:4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.
