8 Parents Do’s and Don’ts Do – Encourage girls with positive reinforcement – Play catch and practice as much as you can (Pitching) – Cheer good plays on both teams during games – 24 Hour Rule – Speak to Coaches before or after practice/games – Let us know of any injury – C OMMUNICATE – CALLS / EMAIL / TEXT / TWEET /… Don’t – Discuss Playing Time or Positions – Go in dugout during games – Don’t talk to the umpires – Heckle the opposing team – Coach girls during the game – Criticize coaches….ha ha

9 Equipment Cleats (no metal) & Flips Bat (ASA approved only) Black, Green or White Undershirt (optional long and short sleeve) Fielding Face Mask (optional) Hair ties or headband – Hair back Sliding shorts (Optional)

10 Tournament Day: Typically, We will know at least a week before the times we play on Saturday (Sunday depends on W-L on Saturday) Be at field 60 minutes ready to warmup Pregame routine will include warmup, stretch, fielding and hitting Positions/batting order will be assigned before game Pitchers will be notified in advance of game day Bring water

11 Fundraising iPad Raffle – 120 Tickets ($10/Ticket) – 10 Tickets/Player Raises $800 Sponsorship – Patches or Banner – Levels of Sponsorship CVGSL League – Donation ($500/Team). Allocated to offset Tournament Costs (travel costs) – Refund of excess will be divided equally between the team.
